Do I need to remove the microchip in my pet before the cremation?

No. Microchips are embedded deep into your pets. This means that the only way they can be removed is through surgery. However, it is not necessary as these microchips cannot be reused for your next pet.

If your pet has any metal components in their bodies, they will be cremated with them. These materials are able to survive the high temperatures and can be retrieved with the help of a magnet after the cremation. Should owners wish, they can pick them up as keepsakes or memorabilia.
